Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Push Get LLC ("Push Get," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in connection with our mobile applications, websites, and related services (together, the "Services"), including Approachable Wine Guide. It applies to all of our apps unless an app shows a separate notice. We are the controller of personal information processed through the Services.
The specific data an app collects depends on the app and the features you use. An app's store listing (its Apple App Store "Privacy" details and Google Play "Data safety" section) describes the data practices for that app.
2. Information we collect
Depending on the app and how you use it, we may collect the following.
Information you give us
- Account and contact details, such as a name or email address, if you create an account or contact support.
- Support messages and any information you choose to include in them.
- Content you create in an app, such as tasting notes, ratings, saved bottles, and lists.
- Purchase records, such as which products you bought and your subscription status. Payment-card details are handled by the app store or payment processor, not by us.
Information we collect automatically
- Device and app information, such as device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and settings.
- Usage and analytics data, such as features used, screens viewed, taps, and session length, typically in aggregate or pseudonymous form.
- Diagnostics, such as crash reports and performance data, to help us fix problems.
- Approximate location derived from your IP address, and precise location only if an app feature needs it and you grant permission. You can change location permissions in your device settings.
- Identifiers, such as a device or installation identifier used for analytics and to deliver app functionality.
Information from third parties
- App stores and payment processors provide purchase and subscription confirmations so we can unlock features and validate receipts. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
- Service providers (for example, analytics or subscription-management tools) provide aggregated or technical data about how the Services perform.
3. How we use information
- provide, maintain, and improve the Services and develop new features;
- process purchases and manage subscriptions, including validating receipts and restoring purchases;
- respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Services;
- understand how the Services are used, measure performance, and debug;
- personalize content and recommendations within an app;
- protect the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep them secure; and
- comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not use your personal information to serve third-party targeted advertising, and we do not sell it.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal information on these legal bases: to perform our contract with you (to provide the Services and process purchases); our legitimate interests (to secure, improve, and understand the Services), balanced against your rights; your consent (for example, precise location or optional analytics, where required), which you can withdraw at any time; and to comply with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only as described here:
- Service providers that process data on our behalf under contract, such as cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, subscription management, and customer-support tools.
- App stores and payment processors, such as Apple and Google, which process your purchases under their own privacy policies.
- Legal and safety, when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of users, the public, or Push Get.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy or notify you of any material change.
- With your direction, when you ask us to share information or make it public within an app.
6. Third-party services
The Services use a small number of third-party tools to function and to help us understand performance, which may include analytics, crash reporting, subscription and paywall management, and cloud infrastructure. These providers process data under their own privacy policies and only as needed to provide their service to us. The current set of providers for a given app is reflected in that app's store privacy disclosures.
7. Your choices
- Permissions: you can control location, notifications, and tracking permissions in your device settings.
- Push notifications: you can turn these off in your device settings at any time.
- Analytics: where an app offers an analytics or tracking toggle, you can opt out there. On Apple devices, our apps respect your App Tracking Transparency choice.
- Access and deletion: you can ask us to access or delete your data as described in Section 11.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: we honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required by law.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it. If you delete your account or an app, associated data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records, for example for tax or accounting.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, such as encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account credentials safe and contact us if you suspect a problem.
10. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Apps that concern alcohol, including Approachable Wine Guide, are intended only for people of legal drinking age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at support@pushgetapps.com and we will delete it.
11. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email support@pushgetapps.com. We will respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
12. California rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request access to and deletion of it; to correct inaccurate information; and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. In the past 12 months we have collected the categories described in Section 2 (identifiers, internet and app-activity information, approximate location, commercial information such as purchases, and any information you provide), used them as described in Section 3, and disclosed them to the service providers described in Section 5 for business purposes. You may exercise your rights by emailing support@pushgetapps.com. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request.
13. EEA, UK, and Swiss rights
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the rights described in Section 11 under the GDPR and equivalent laws, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Our legal bases are described in Section 4. To exercise your rights, contact support@pushgetapps.com.
14. International transfers
Push Get is based in the United States, and we and our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact us for more information about these safeguards.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
